At the conclusion of the pre-flop betting round, three more cards are dealt to each player. This starts the Flop round. At this stage, the community cards are dealt instead of the cards on the deck. When the field has been trimmed down to two competitors, a showdown ensues. They will show their cards and whoever has the best hand will be the winner and takes home the pot.
